Bludge afternoon

One week in,

Only one week into my holiday and I feel like I've seen so much and yet I'm still here for another 3 weeks or so until I leave for the UK. In the beginning the weather was absolutely freezing and I found it really unpleasant because I haven't really packed too many winter clothes. Luckily the weather has really picked up and the sun is out. I have been eating the BEST food but after a week of indulging I found it had started taking its toll on my body. So yesterday I went out with mother and we bought a set of scales so we wouldn't have to keep guessing our weight fluctuation. Seeing as previous to this trip I had lost 12 kgs I reeeeaaally didn't want to undo all my good work so at least this way I can keep an eye out on it. For the next few days I've decided to be HELL strict to compensate for my week...

Overseas trip

So finally I am in the beautiful country of Holland. I have been counting down the days for like a year and to be finally here is amazing. I will be here for the next four weeks and then 10 days in the UK. It is so nice to see the family again, honestly feels like my second home.

The shopping here is to-die-for. Can't wait to head out again to the gorgeous little shops in the centre of The Hague.

It's so nice having all the time in the world to just chill and relax, did I mention that our apartment overlooks the Queen's palace gardens? - HHHHEAVEN! <3>

Regrowth looks gorgeous if you have the right shade of blonde with it. Girls these days are too paranoid about regrowth.. I actually love it.
Over the next week I shall upload a photo of my new hair, already taken my first step towards my natural hair colour which is a dirty ash blonde.

On another note, 4 more sleeps <3

I'm now 1000 words away from being on uni holidays, and 8 days until I'm off on my adventure(!!). so effing excited. On another note, father is away the whole weekend which means...GIRLS WEEKEND! But what is quite sad is the first thing I thought of was a big junkfood and romance movie fest. Then I remembered I've cut off all contact with junkfood of any kind. depressssssssso. but it shall all be worth it, I know my body will thank me later.
All I feel like doing is some serious browsing of blogs, but instead I must get my head in the books...

Fabienne Vanderhaeghen, so beautiful.

So excited, booked in to have my hair done on Friday... haven't been in quite a few months and I'm keen for a change... right now I'm platinum blonde and so over it. yuckkkkk. I'm thinking some nice ashy brown low lights to make it all look more natural.

Plus I'm down to 11 days until I go overseas! Need to start planning what to take and maybe buy a new suitcase... I definately learnt from last time that the less I pack the more I can take home. mmm so excited I keep thinking about all the delicious food I will be eating and glorious shops and sights I will see. Not to mention the free alcohol on the plane... I also need to pick an outfit to wear which needs to be nice/comfortable.

I should really just get these assignments finished so I can spend the rest of my week daydreaming of what's to come.

So I'm new to this...

I'm new to the blogging world. I've tried tumblr and didn't really like it so now I'm going to have a go at blogspot. I'm uber excited to share my travels and experiences, purchases and wants. Right now I have a few days until I'm finished uni for the semester and I can have some real fun. I'm leaving for Europe in under 2 weeks and I'm hoping to capture some rather awesome images of my travels with Dad's Leica. So very keeeeen.
